Project Description


Mission: 
  • To Lead Operational Excellence Transformation of the site - identify, propose, define, manage and/or participate in Operational Excellence projects, focusing as well on incremental as well as breakthrough change, 
    • to provide support to OpEx teams for best practices sharing, 
    • to deploy lean six sigma by ensuring training is provided and coaching to the organization and to ensure state-of-the art methodologies are developed 
    • consequently applied in all projects in order to optimize the performance of the production site. 
  • To propose for the Site the change project priorities, to challenge the Site in their improvement aspirations,
    •  to assign resources to each project and ensure they are properly trained, to manage the projects and monitor the use of the appropriate methodologies and toolboxes,
    •  to support the Change Agents in their projects
    • to create a mindset of continuous improvement.  
  

MAIN OUTPUT: 
  •  Projects completion and results 
  •  Change-project priorities & planning  
  •  Change management training & support 
  •  Respect of methodologies and toolbox 
  •  Development of mindset of continuous improvement in the site  
  •  Follow up and ensure the correct application of the OpEx and change management toolbox and methodology in each project 
  •  Promote OpEx within the site and build awareness via specific programs  
  •  Decide with own management (GBU or Site) on improvement project priorities, targets and objectives 
  •  Develop a project statement for each project and appoint a project team  
  •  Steer and monitor the manufacturing performance data collection and analysis  
  •  Manage improvement projects, in collaboration with GBU or Site teams  
  •  Follow up project KPI’s and take corrective measures when necessary  
  •  Assure the liaison with other Operational Excellence initiatives across the sites and support exchange across GBUs  
  •  Track results and performance for own perimeter  
  


CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: 
  •  Define a process to ensure continuous improvement of the project parameters  
  •  Brief Site management about OpEx activities  
  •  Follow up improvement actions and progress of KPI’s  
  •  Keep OpEx dashboard for own perimeter  
  


COMMUNICATION & REPORTING 
  •  Prepare and present reports at formal communication forums and align the management team around key messages  
  •  Share across the own perimeter relevant KPI’s and best practices  
  •  Share and implement best practices by participating cross-disciplinary workgroups  
  •  Regularly update own management about projects progress and results  


TEAM MANAGEMENT 
  •  Define objectives for, lead, motivate, coach, develop and evaluate Change Agents on the site 
  •  Participate in the selection, rotation and promotion of Change Agents  
  •  Participate in the OpEx network and exchange experiences and best practices 
 

REQUIRED COMPETENCES 
  •   Knowledge of the process technology applicable on the site (polymerization, compounding) – welcome, ability to propose improvements 
  •   Knowledge of quality and HSE management systems : ISO 16949, ISO 14001 
  •   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  •   Knowledge of project management tools
  •   Knowledge and application of performance tools (e.g. problem solving methods, 5S, TPM, 6 sigma, OEE tracking, etc)
  •   Change management skills 
  •   Ability to manage, encourage and challenge teams on the site towards interactive and achievement driven actions   


REQUIRED PROFILE
  •   Education: master degree in engineering or management 
  •   Min 3 years experience on similar position or on a managerial position in industry 
  •   Fluent Polish and English speaker
  •   Strong initiative and achievement drive  
  •   Ability to impact and influence the organization and individual employees 
  •   Excellent communication and collaboration skills
