The job

The purpose of the role is to create and maintain an authentic, relevant and data-driven relationship between internal research and external research groups. We believe you have a broad scientific background on a PhD level capable of creating knowledge from scientific data and with an ability to understand details, in the form of biological targets, pathways, and molecules, as well as comprehending the larger picture of disease understanding and therapeutics. Furthermore, you should have a flair for digital social engagement as active outreach is important in order to be the bridge builder between internal and external scientists. Finally, understanding of external collaboration, including aspects such as legal framework and contracts is of great value.

We offer you

  • To be part of a small team working with the whole world
  • Exposure outwards as an Ambassador for Open Innovation and Academic collaborations
  • An exciting trans-disciplinary environment with opportunities for personal development in many different directions
  • The opportunity to impact and improve the way we develop drugs

The position is formally placed in the department of Alliance Management, but tasks will be shared with the Open Innovation team roughly on a 50-50% basis as directed by the Head of Alliance Management and the Head of Open Innovation.
