Neurology Belgian Lead 
The incumbent will be part of the Patient Value Unit Neurology and report to the Head of Neurology Northern Europe. 



Major Responsibilities:  
  • Provides Cross functional Leadership (sales, medical, marketing, market access): objectives setting, coaching, performance management, …) 
  • Adapts EU strategies and tactics to Belgian  health care system 
  • Develops and implements an impactful national Patient Value Plan, identify and accomplish development opportunities (= value initiatives) in Belgium, aligned with corporate strategy 
  • Drives innovation and adapts based on impact seen 
  • Close cross functional collaboration in order to achieve corporate objectives 
  • Provides Leadership (sales, medical, marketing, market access): objectives setting, coaching, performance management, …) 
  • Adapts EU strategies and tactics to local  health care system 
  • Develops and implements an impactful national Patient Value Plan, identify and accomplish development opportunities (= value initiatives) in the country, aligned with the Area & corporate strategy 
  • Drives innovation and adapts based on impact seen. 
  • Ensures value initiatives are high quality and executed in a timely manner   
  • Fosters collaboration in order to achieve corporate objectives 
  • Ensures appropriate and sufficient CT capabilities & competencies 
  • Ensures local MA manager becomes an active adjunctive member of the country CT.              
  • Additional responsibilities (over and above cross functional leadership) dependent on health care system opportunities, other team capabilities and own competence e.g. Scientific Partner, Network Partner or Patient Solution Manager     



Your Personal skills:   
  • University degree in business or scientific discipline 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken French, Dutch and English 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing (Market Access experience an advantage) 
  • Experience with neurology a strong advantage 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within a matrix organization 
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills and highly organised with a keen sense of what it takes to get the job done 
  • Skills in delivering local solutions based on Global and Regional strategies are as important as the capacity to deliver business solutions based on local opportunities 
  • Strong negotiation skills, result driven, business orientated and energetic self-starter with entrepreneurial mind-set 
  • Able to balance objective analysis and intuitive decision making tailored to specific circumstances 
  • Solid project management and relationship builder skills in order to overcome complex and multidimensional business challenges 
  • Ability to articulate compelling ideas and information in a clear, inspirational and pragmatic manner
