Microbiologist Job ID20341 Responsibilities Performs microbiological environmental monitoring in a pharmaceutical manufacturing clean room environment Conducts Microbiological analysis, documentation and assessment of the results Tasks Responsible for conducting and reviewing of routine tests (sampling, monitoring, LAL, GPT) according to SOPs Conducts and reviews environmental monitoring and sampling within manufacturing areas Responsible for sampling, testing and review of process utilities (e.g. nitrogen, compressed air, pure steam, WFI) Ensures, documents and prepares materials needed to conduct above tests with respect to expiration dates Responsible for execution of Laboratory Investigations and Change controls Responsible for cleaning, maintaining and calibrating devices and equipment Responsible for disinfecting lab, LF Hoods, autoclave, incubators and other lab equipment’s Collaborates with contract laboratories whom carry out microbiological testing Responsible for training of colleagues in the Microbiological department, as well as interdepartmental trainings such as hygienic behavior and gowning qualifications Representative for the Microbiological laboratory in customer projects Ensures that all tasks are conducted in compliance with all safety, environmental protection and cGMP regulations Responsible for ordering lab consumables and inventory control Actively participates in microbiology validation part of production equipment’s like autoclave, Hot air sterilizer, ultrasonic bath and Freeze drier Responsible for maintenance and enumeration of cryo cultures, ATCC cultures and Biological indicators Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Biological sciences / Microbiology Knowledge of Quality Management systems MS Office Benefits At Vetter USA, we provide a number of competitive compensation and benefits programs, ranging from paid time-off, health insurance and retirement plan to relocation package and tuition reimbursement, partly applicable under certain provisions.
