Responsible for corrective machine and preventative maintenance on high speed automated manufacturing equipment such as labelers, cartoners, palletizers, etc. Due to headcount constraints qualified internal candidates within the business unit will be given priority

This role is expected to infuse equipment uptime, line efficiency and increase overall equipment effectiveness in a production environment by condition monitoring, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing packaging equipment.
  • Work within the production team to provide the support required to meet goals of quality, uptime, quantity, and safety.
Process improvement:
  • Improve existing equipment preventive maintenance strategy to include the use of based targets to compliment time based PMs.
  • Identify specific equipment signals/measurements that will improve the PM programs success rate measured by reduced unscheduled maintenance.
Compliance:
  • Responsible for completing work orders to make sure that the work was completed according to GMP standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (Safety, Production Procedures, etc.

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts

  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
