Material supply planner for EMA operation, Kalundborg/Copenhagen
We are looking for a dedicated person to manage the inbound flow of materials. In this job you will be responsible for a rapid high-value material flow while keeping inventory level in check. On a daily basis you will follow-up with inventory levels and request materials from suppliers. Your primary goal is to ensure material availability for production and in case of shortage, you will stay on top of the situation to coordinate activities. Through your daily work you will impact the raw and packaging inventory, with a secondary goal to keep this to a minimum. To do this, you will collaborate with production departments and with sourcing in how supplier contracts are defined. You will take part in analysing inventory development, setting safety stock levels and challenging our supply concepts.
EMA operations handles 36% of Novozymes total production volume. Together with your fellow material supply planner, you will manage the entire material flow to enable this production. You will be part of the Production Scheduling department, which besides material supply planning, is responsible for scheduling in EMA operations. The job can be positioned in either Kalundborg or Copenhagen, but presence in Kalundborg is to be expected.
In this position you need to have:
- Solid experience from similar role is expected
- Relevant education within planning/logistics is preferred
- Good analytical skills and profound knowledge of concepts for operations management
- Extended experience with SAP module and good skills in Microsoft office
- Fluent in Danish and English both verbally and in writing
- You are structured, decisive and independent, with the ability to prioritise, establish overview and coordinate between several stakeholders.
