The main responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to provide strategic & tactical marketing and commercial direction and support in the broadest sense of the word.
The Marketing Manager proposes strategies and after approval- ensures its proper implementation. Proposes, develops and organizes promotional events and manages the execution of all promotional activities.
All this is done in concertation with local management and, if applicable, with relevant HQ departments.
The Marketing Manager reports directly to the General Manager:
Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, its competitors and all aspects of the market(s) in which the company operates.
Participates in organizing and/or coordinating all promotional events (e.g. national / international congresses, workshops, symposia and local events).
Develops and manages all promotional materials in collaboration with other stakeholders.
Provides regular sales and expenses analysis & reports.
Participates in annual Plan & Budget exercise.
Business school / Marketing education.
Experience in the pharmaceutical/ medical industry.
Acquainted with tender / contract negotiations and account management principles.
3 4 years working experience in similar capacity.
Fluent in both spoken and written Dutch, French and English.
Excellent MS Office Skills and computer literate
Creative and open-minded
Team player with good communication skill
