About the departmentLocated in Portugal (BA Europe South)You will be part of the Market Access & Public Affairs department reporting to the Portugal MAPA Director.In Portugal we are 40 employees aprox.The positionAs Market Access & Public Affairs Professional your main responsibilities will be:Develop Pricing and Access strategies and activities for all portfolio of Novo Nordisk and give support to the Market Access Director and Field Market Access;Develop value communication tools to national & regional stakeholders;Design & execute Novo Nordisk Public Affairs strategy with the aim of influencing regional and national governmental trends & policies which might impact diabetes, haemophilia & obesity care;Build and increase awareness for the need of "Changing Diabetes" & Changing Haemophilia ;Support external communication locally.Key accountabilitiesDevelop value communication tools to improve national & regional access;Support national access activities;Coordinate and execute the Public Affairs Plan at regional and national level, aligned with the company strategy & objectives;Develop strategies and activities with Patients Associations to develop unmet need awareness and improve patients quality of life;Support institutional external communication activities and be the partner of local communication agency;Guarantee national & regional Cross Functional Collaboration with rest of functions (field & back office). Main accountabilitiesCollaborate to develop value proposition aligned with marketing portfolio strategy in order to avoid regional/local access restrictions to the products; Develop value communication tools to improve national & regional access aligned with value proposition and Regional Sales Plan;  Develop tools to contribute to minimize the reimbursement barriers in order to ensure patients with appropriate treatment and optimal access to NN products addressing payer objections to the products prescription;Support to development of national pricing and reimbursement strategies and activities for all Novo Nordisk portfolio;Shaping of regional/national policy makers and relevant stakeholders in order to identify key players in the diabetes/haemophilia/obesity regulation process;Support development of HEOR projects using local data to generate publications;Collaborate in the development of the local value dossier and update it periodically;Monitor competitor activities and market trends in Market Access area;Planning and execution of the Public Affairs Plan;Create and maintain a strong relationship with Patient Advocacy Groups or Patients Associations and other relevant stakeholders identifying collaboration opportunities for changing diabetes and haemophilia at national & regional level;Coordinate the development of national & regional Changing Diabetes
