Job DescriptionThe Corporate Accounting Manager will serve as Project Manager for the Company Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 Compliance effort ensuring an efficient and effective 404 compliance program and provide for the timely identification and resolution of identified issues.

Proactive engagement of process owners to promote process and control owner responsibility and accountability throughout the organization. Provide consultative support, education and training related to internal control and SOX 404 compliance activities.

Strong understanding of process and systems; ability to act as a catalyst for the identification of opportunities for process efficiency and improvement and drive change, with confidence to both suggest and support new ideas and approaches.

Possess ability to provide clear, concise and appropriate documentation of work performed, issues and observations.

Assist in the update and development of the Company’s policies and procedures and corporate closing governance activities.

Manage external and internal audit relationships.

Possesses “can do” attitude and willingness to roll-up sleeves.

Provide other general support to Corporate Accounting and External Reporting groups and others as required.

QualificationsGenerally, at least 6 years of experience in accounting; preferably with management experience in both public accounting and private industry.

• Strong leadership skills; ability to interact with and build productive working relationships across all organizational levels. Ability to communicate and drive results cross-functionally.


• Demonstrates a strong project management skill set; ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time.


• Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting and financial concepts.

This role requires significant attention to detail. Candidate should be able to collect, analyze and interpret data to produce accurate reporting.
Candidate must have ability to thrive in a team environment, be willing to assist other team members to achieve team goals and objectives and go the ‘extra mile’ if necessary.
EducationBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required
CPA strongly preferred
