The Learning Partner Consultant supports and facilitates learning and development activities within the North America Commercial Business, and influences the design, delivery and execution of the learning plan to achieve business results. The role supports the Food Animal Production Business Unit in the execution of the L&D strategy through consulting and delivery on appropriate learning solutions. S/he interacts with and influences business leaders, mid-level managers, and field sales teams to understand and meet business goals and performance needs, develops and executes learning plans aligned to the broader division, function, or line of business and product brand strategy, and routinely engages with key stakeholders to ensure learning solutions continue to support and positively drive desired outcomes. The candidate must have strong consulting skills, strategic mindset, has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, has strong communication skills, presents themselves with a professional and executive presence and is self-driven.
While the role is field based, it does require the candidate to be at most, within 4 hours driving distance to the DeSoto, KS site as a requisite of this role to support the Food Animal Production client base.
Success in this role depends on the candidate’s ability to collaborate with leaders in the business, subject matter experts, Faculty members and other Learning Partners and Learning Consultants, as well as work cross-functionally to act as a partner and point of contact for the business’ performance needs and communicate them to support design and delivery of learning solutions. The candidate will balance their time between consulting, design, development, curriculum building and facilitating training to their client areas.
Minimum Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in learning consulting or similar experience to include sales, marketing and training
- A minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- A minimum 3 years of sales account management experience, key account management preferred
- A minimum 3 years of experience facilitating, developing, and/or delivering sales learning and/or training solutions
