  • The Continuous Improvement Laboratories Lead will provide MPS, Lean and Continuous Improvement leadership & expertise to the Laboratories to test quality pharmaceutical products in meeting the four Manufacturing Division priorities of: Compliance, Supply, Strategy and Profit Plan.
  • The Continuous Improvement Laboratories Lead will participate and comply with the Manufacturing Division Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including ownership, as relevant to you.


Primary activities/responsibilities:
  •  Coach & Manage portfolio of continuous improvement projects across the laboratories
  •  Install, Maintain & Sustain Operational Metrics across the laboratories
  •  Take ownership & responsibility for maintaining and improving Tier & Governance processes across the laboratories
  •  Influence & Work with other site stakeholders to continuously improve laboratories
  •  Work Closely with the Laboratory Operational Leadership Team on key operational and strategic areas
  •  Drive improvement projects to completion and assist in the execution of the improvement projects.



Qualifications
Required:
  •  Degree – technical and further business management.
  •  Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments. With a rack record of sustained lean practice and delivery of results.
  •  Hands on experience with application of most of : Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques, Standardized work, Scientific problem solving (PDCA,) Value stream mapping, SMED, Mistake proofing, 5S, Behavioural Coaching, Visual factory, DMAIC.
  •  Demonstrated application of culture and business change methodologies (CEM, Inclusion and Behavioural Coaching) when realizing site and cross functional process improvement initiatives.
  •  Outstanding influencing, listening, coaching and project management skills.
  •  Demonstrated ability to build, lead and be member of high performing teams.
  •  Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills / Certified Sigma Green Belt.
  •  Ambitious forward thinker who thrives on new challenges and is motivated by new learning opportunities.


Desired:
  •  Operational Knowldege of Pharmaceutical Sector (Manufacturing or Laboratories)
  •  BB or MBB certified or experience working for a dedicated MPS/Lean Team
  •  Exceptional presentation and group facilitation skills
  •  Strong exposure to Toyota Production System (TPS) methods

  •  Proven Safety leader with strong behavioural/cultural & Systemic Knowledge across Safety & Environment
  •  Demonstrated ability to fully realize change and improvement initiatives.
  •  Demonstrated leadership behaviors (refer to company key behaviors).

Experience
