A  Solutions Architect will have a broad role and opportunity to deliver both solution-specific and enterprise-wide applications across a wide spectrum of solutions and technologies. The role will have constant exposure to new and emerging technologies which makes this a great position for someone who thrives on new challenges, has industry proven skills in system design and is committed to delivering the best solutions possible for the business challenges presented to us by our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect, build, deploy, secure, integrate, and support Enterprise application solutions for internal customers

Apply knowledge and experience to understand business challenges, processes, and opportunities then work to drive new and innovative approaches to resolving them

Analyze and bridge the gap between the business and technology to develop a stable solutions for our clients

Work with business stake holders to identify and recommend technical solutions for application integration

Deliver product, technology and/ or solution presentations to technical and business decision makers and engage interactively.

Work on project teams comprised of customers, partners, and peers from project inception through the hand off to operations as a technical subject matter expert and consultant

Organize technical requirements gathering and solution design sessions with customers, partners and other technical resources of all levels

Practitioner of disciplined execution focused on formulating solid vision, strategy, goals, and requirements collaboratively with customers and partners to ensure a well-defined opportunity with the right approach to executing on it.

Provide guidance to Enterprise Support Engineer Team

Provide some level of technical assistance to end users as a component of managing escalated system support

Research and test emerging technologies to assist the business with developing strategic plans.

Work schedule will include ‘out of normal’ work hours for IT support & monthly maintenance

Required Skills:

A successful candidate must have a strong desire to work hard, improve their skills, and broaden the scope of their system knowledge

Experience in working with vendors to design, construct, and integrate business solutions in customer facing roles

Must be able to design and implement technical solutions to Enterprise business problems regardless of technologies and vendors.
Must have strong experience and a desire to deliver strategically while remaining proficient and engaged tactically with solutions

Broad exposure to Microsoft Server products preferred. The most desired candidates will have some experience with the following products: Windows Server 2008/2012, SQL Server, VMware and Oracle

Experience with business applications that incorporate technologies like Apache Tomcat, Java, Microsoft IIS, Content Management Platforms, and cloud-based services required

Technical writing and verbal (presentation) skills are required

Work effectively in a matrix cross functional organization

Desired Skills:
Candidate must be a strong team player and have the ability to mentor enterprise support technicians recognizing personal improvement and awards is best achieved by making those around you successful.

Exposure to FDA regulated environments or change management (ITIL) is strongly preferred.

Project Management skills (e.g. SDLC) are preferred
Must demonstrate security fundamentals within design, implementation, and management of any solution and be able to articulate the value and reasons security is core to any solution

Some experience with mobile app development and design is preferred
Traditional networking, infrastructure, and Enterprise management preferred

BS/BA in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Industry certifications including MCSA, MCSE, ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, AWS, and others are a plus.
