Responsibilities

We are seeking an IT Compliance Senior Analyst for our IT Security & Compliance team located in Wilmington, MA.

Responsible for collaborating with IT Management, Internal and External Audit, and Internal Control, on initiatives associated with IT General Control (ITGC) compliance and global data privacy/protection regulations and statutes. The Senior Analyst assists in ensuring appropriate processes, procedures, and controls are adequately designed, documented, implemented, tested, and remediated to meet audit and compliance expectations, operating efficiency goals, and other business objectives.

Corporate Functions

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement. 

Qualifications

The following are minimum requirements related to the IT Compliance Senior Analyst position.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ related experience with process and procedure documentation, process improvement planning, and knowledge of financial and/or security control frameworks. Experience in Life Sciences, Biopharma or related industry preferred. Self-starter; adaptable to change, ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, deliverables, and stakeholders, excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and verbal and written communication skills
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
