U.S. Facilities and Operations:
Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

Your responsibilities

  • Position Summary:
  • Working in a High Performance team environment, perform all manufacturing operations necessary to support the Introcan Work Team.

  • Safety : Safely perform operation of multi-vac and needle placement
  • Quality: Ability to recognize defective parts and bring to the attention of leadership. Ensure compliance to all ISO/GMP policies.
  • Operations: Successfully meet rate running the multi-vac, pack out and placing needles. Rotate through white area, gray area and needle placement roles. Ability to read blueprints.
  • Leadership - Actively participate in team meetings, discussions.
  • Administrative: Complete basic paperwork, for multi-vac and quality testing. Complete machine set-up paperwork
  • Quality Testing - Perform visual quality tests
  • Material Supply - Filling bowls, requesting more parts, confirming production, moving inprocess and finished goods.
  • Machine Set-up - Set up Multi-vac. Able to change top rolls of paper and botom film
  • Troubleshooting - Clear maching jams on multi-vac, or at needle placement station
  • Maintenance - Complete daily p.m's on multi-vac. Assist with weekly p.m.'s., Communicate to higher skilled operators when having complicated mechanical issues
  • Change-overs: Assist with change-over of multi-vac or other assigned equipment
  • Perform all requirements of Introcan Operator Level 1
  • Safety : Safely perform operation of multi-vac, needle placement and G24 Tipper or ECM Machine
  • Quality: Ability to recognize defective parts and bring to the attention of leadership. Ensure compliance to all ISO/GMP policies.
  • Operations: Able to successfully operate the multi-vac, pack-out, place needles and operate either the G24 tipper or ECM
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
  • Reasoning:Apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with Several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Mathematics:Simple to Algebra: Deal with system of real numbers; linear, quadratic, rational, exponential, logarithmic, angle and circular functions, and inverse functions; related algebraic solution of equations and inequalities; limits and continuity, and probability and statistical inference. Geometry: Deductive axiomatic geometry, plan and solid, and rectangular coordinates. Shop Math: Practical applications of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, logarithms, practical algebra, geometric construction, & essential trigonometry.
  • Language: Reading, Read company policies and procedures, safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work. Writing: Write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar using all parts of speech. Speaking: Speak before an audience with poise, voice control, and confidence, using correct language and well-modulated voice.

Your qualifications

  • Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc
  • Required:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Leadership - Training of Level 1's.
  • Administrative: Complete basic paperwork, for G24 tipper or ECM including quality testing paperwork. Complete machine set-up paperwork for Level 1 and 2 equipment
  • Quality Testing - Perform visual quality tests for multi-vac, and either g24 tipper or ECM. Complete simpler physical testing for all machines.
  • Machine Set-up - Set up Multi-vac and either G24 tipper or ECM. Able to change top rolls of paper and botom film on multi-vac. Able to manage solvents for G24 tipper use.
  • Troubleshooting - Clear maching jams on multi-vac, at needle placement station, and for G24 tipper or ECM
  • Maintenance - Complete daily p.m's on multi-vac and G24 tipper/ECM. Assist with weekly p.m.'s., Communicate to higher skilled operators when having complicated mechanical issues
  • Change-overs: Changeover multi-vac, ECM or other assigned equipment
  • Solvent Mixing - Able to successfully mix solvents and monitor on-line.
  • Perform all requirements of previous levels
  • Safety : Safely perform operation of CAL or CAM plus ECM, multi-vac and G24 tipper. Safely place needles. Follow LO/TO procedures. Comply with appropriate company safety policies and procedures.
  • Quality: Ability to recognize defective parts and bring to the attention of leadership. Ensure highest quality output from machinery
  • Operations: Able to successfully operate either CAL or CAM plus ECM, the G24 tipper, the multi-vac, pack-out, and place needles.
  • Leadership - Training of level 1's and 2's. Able to lead pieces of daily team meeting discussions.
  • Administrative: Complete shop pack paperworkfor CAL or CAM, plus ECM, G24 tipper and the multi-vac and quality testing. Complete machine set-up paperwork. Be able to use Lotus Notes e-mail package more complicated physical testing for all machines.
  • Material Supply - Filling bowls, requesting more parts, confirming production, moving in process and finished goods, SAP transactions
  • Machine Set-up - Set up CAM or CAL, ECM, G24 tipper and the Multi-vac. Able to change top rolls of paper and botom film.
  • Troubleshooting - Clear maching jams on CAM or CAL, ECM, G24 tipper and multi-vac, or at needle placement station.
  • Change-overs: Able to changeover either CAL or CAM, plus ECM, and the multi-vac. Assist with change-over of other assigned equipment.
  • Solvent Mixing & Handling: Able to successfully mix solvents in Chemical mixing room and change out solvents at CAM, CAL, ECM and G24 tipper. Perform testing of solvents during the day and make appropirate adjustments to mix..
  • Maintenance: Complete daily and weekly p.m's on CAL or CAM, ECM, G24 tipper, the multi-vac. Assist with monthly p.m.'s.,Communicate to higher skilled operators when having difficulty or are unable to troubleshoot, repair machines and equipment.
  • Understand and successfully interface and operate in SAP Maintenance environment
  • Understand part cross referencing and CCR process.
  • Understand Windows operating systems on equipment interfaces.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and external resources
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of parts
  • G. Ability to select correct program for vision system changeovers
