Project Description

Solvay Business Services -   Information Services – is offering an unique internship opportunity in the Infrastructure - Global Collaboration Team. We are looking for driven and proactive individuals to join us in Singapore.

Global Collaboration is part of a global team responsible to provide collaboration solutions to all Solvay collaborators based on Google Suite (GSuite). The main responsibilities are:


  • Provide support for the day-to-day delivery of Google Suite (G Suite) service

    • Assist the global team in managing escalations from vendor and helpdesk

    • Help design an effective communication process to inform about services changes, incidents or service disruption in various channels: Remedyforce, Global Collaboration site (Google Site). email broadcast, Intranet

  • Analyse re-current incidents and propose corrective actions for continuous service improvement


  • Contribute in the re-structuring of the current Global Collaboration site

  • Design and build new/additional services of the GSuite platform by proposing and executing studies; testing and evaluation of new capabilities and solutions

For example: Hangout Meet, Hangout Video, Google Photos

    • Develop Proof Of Concept (POC) requirements and activities

      • Design test cases

      • Perform tests together with customers and stakeholders; ensure it is meeting performance and customer’s expectations

      • Assess POC results and analysis

  • Participate in new service/project roll out

For example: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Services.Interns have will the opportunity to follow through the new service implementation process.

  • Build a Governance framework for the new service

    • Define requirements and prerequisite to create application projects in GCP

    • Define project creation process

  • Define service requirements and documentations

    • Access Control - Plan and determine who can access the service/project

    • Security Management - Ensure all projects and applications are securely managed in GCP

    • Release Management - Deployment lifecycle from QA to Production environment

    • Operational Guideline

    • Billing management - Clearly identify monthly cost of the service to perform cost apportionment


●    Educational qualifications : Information Technology / Business IT  

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt and work in a multicultural environmemt

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Fast learner, independent, proactive and able to propose suggestions and initiatives

●     Customer service oriented and self-driven in managing user demands.

●     Knowledge of Google Cloud Services or messaging technologies is a plus
