Project Description


Company Overview
  • The Global Business Solutions (GBS) Center  was established in July 2010 to provide financial shared service such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and General Accounting and Global Travel and Meeting services. Since then, the scope of GBS  has expanded outside of Finance and into other Business Service functions (Customer Meeting Services, Global HR Data Management).
   


Responsibilities 
  • Ensure Compliance to our Sox and Business Control environment
  • Monitor and Review iNext Operations across EMEA on a daily basis
  • Develop an expert level of technical and business knowledge of Concur system
  • Respond to and address all Tier 1 iNext queries from customers
  • Post Pay Audit analysis and reporting
  • Credit Card Administration
  • Review and update process flows and SOPs as required
  • In depth knowledge of financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare & action monthly iNext metrics
  • Liaise with affiliates re local travel policies and receipt retention
  • Initiate and deliver on proposals to management for process improvement solutions
  • Raise technical issues to appropriate IT teams and monitor same. 



Basic Requirements:  

Education and Experience
  • Accounting/Finance degree (Undergraduate or Masters as required for certification)Part Qualified or Qualified CPA, Chartered accountant or equivalent
  • Native language capabilities in Italian
  • Strong finance experience with audit focus
  • Strong experience in 3rd party relationship building & monitoring
  • Strong working knowledge of a Sox environment and related controls
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)Multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent relationship skills as will deal with various levels of personnel in company’s Financial organization, Affiliate organization, third party service providers, and external auditors
  • Knowledgeable of SAP detailed transactions as required for job   




Additional Skills/Preferences
  •  2 years SSC – Financial experience
  • GAAP / IFRS accounting standards knowledge
  • Self-starter, high learning agility
  • Ability to influence at all levels without direct authority
  • Experience working in a high production, deadline driven environment
  • Presentation and training skills
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and experience with lean and Six Sigma



CREATE, PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:
  •  Build Strong Working Relationships with:BPO Business PartnersIBM for technical support
  • Local Controllers and accountants for assigned affiliates iNext GPOOther GBS functions: GA, P2P, O2C, etc. 
  •  Troubleshooting for:SAP Interfaces and disbursements processes 



 Other responsibilities:
  • Create and present training materials to Affiliates on Concur system as deemed appropriate
  • Ability to understand, implement and review new/updated accounting rules, policies and allowances as required
  • Ensure compliance to Global Design and Best practice, unless deviations are necessary for legal or regulatory reasons. 
  • Escalate non-compliant issues.Special project work as it is identified
  • Back up for other team members
