Project Description

This position is responsible for working with the marketing director and cross-functional team members to develop and execute the U.S. multi-channel marketing plans and programs for the Inflammation & Nephrology Business Unit (INBU). The Senior Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, management, and analysis (including measurement and reporting) of eMarketing plans entailing a variety of digital advertising and promotional programs for Healthcare professionals. These programs include (but are not limited to): electronic core visual aids, websites, online search activity (both paid and organic), display, online videos, and eCRM programs. Primary responsibilities will be for Enbrel (rheumatology and dermatology), but may extend to include other products as well.

This position will be responsible for management of one direct report. In addition, it will require significant agency management, and cross-functional team leadership.

Essential Duties:
1. Provide expert RM/eMarketing support to brand promotion leaders
2. Lead cross-functional project teams to develop and implement eMarketing plans
3. Lead development and execution of online/RM reporting capability
4. Coordinate with brand teams to produce tangible online marketing success

Specific responsibilities will include:
Be a key member of the extended cross-functional Enbrel, Sensipar, and ESA brand teams
Partner closely with HCP Promo teams to help develop brand strategy
Establish digital programs to meet brand objectives and stimulate appropriate demand for these products
Develop integrated approach, communication, and education of RM and digital solutions with sales force and sales force automation tools.
Develop Relationship Marketing (RM) and alternative channel strategies based on customer insights and an understanding of the brand's business needs.
Develop and employ investment models, measurement plans and tracking systems to assess program potential, success and optimization.
Develop multi-channel, multi contact communication plans in collaboration with agencies and leveraging internal enterprise data solutions.
Develop segmentation recommendations and implementation.
Participate in the discovery and implementation of new technology to achieve goals
Manage external agencies and resources to implement and optimize digital initiatives
Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible communications
Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs
Work with BAI team to develop and execute research and measurement testing needed to develop programs and project/measure expected returns


Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience
OR
Master’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
5 or more years digital marketing experience. Prefer experience in health/wellness category. Agency experience will be considered.
Experience executing a wide range of successful digital tactics, including: eCVAs, websites, online search activity (both paid and organic), display, online videos, eCRM, and closed-loop marketing programs.
Experience leveraging market research and clinical data into compelling campaigns
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while showing attention to detail and follow-through to completion
Experience in partnering with advertising and media agencies and a track record of successful agency partnership and management
Experience in partnering well with cross-functional colleagues
Experience preferred in: RM strategy and implementation
Building successful e-marketing programs
Development of non-personal promotional programs for healthcare professionals
