|Job Description||The Imaging Specialist will work with the Value Based Medicine (VBM) Imaging Team to develop MRI analysis methods and build internal capabilities in clinical brain imaging and quantitative metrics. The Imaging Specialist will set-up and run image analysis pipelines for testing purposes and imaging studies. Additional key responsibilities will be to regularly monitor and assess image quality for on-going projects and provide feedback to external collaborators. He/she will also be responsible for incoming and outgoing image data management as well as database management for multiple projects. |
The successful candidate will be a member of the Value Based Medicine team and will work in close partnership with their peers in the Clinical Development and Biostatistics departments as well as Information Technology. Members of the VBM group must possess deep domain experience in their chosen fields, an ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and display exceptional learning agility. This role requires a talented individual with experience in brain MRI analysis, DICOM files, LINUX and MySQL.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
− Set-up, test, debug, and run MRI analysis pipelines
− Assist team with evaluation of new image analysis software
− Handle image data management of incoming and outgoing images
− Manage the image database and generate reports as well as review image analysis results
− Perform weekly image QA/QC and provide image quality feedback and assistance to external collaborators

|Qualifications||− Minimum of 2 years of experience in imaging analysis |
− Hands-on knowledge of image analysis software
− Experience managing an image database and generating reports
− Experience in biopharmaceutical industry desired and scientific background strongly preferred
− Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts.
− Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment; team player yet able to work independently with minimal direction

− Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering strongly preferred
