Job Scope
Your Mission 
  •  The HR Business Partner position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees & management. 
  • The position serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and assesses & anticipates HR-related needs. 
  • Communicating needs proactively with our HR department & business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. 
  • The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management & employees that reflects the business    


Main Responsibilities
 Your Contributions   
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.  
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. 
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. 
  • Partners with the legal department as needed/required. 
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, and terminations). 
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement, and increase productivity and retention. 
  • Participates in interviews to identify best fit hires. 
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. 
  • Workforce analytics and reporting in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. 
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. 
  • Develops offers for new hires, promotions and transfers. 
  • Point of contact with our outsourced vendor for LOA/STD/LTD.     


Education  
Bachelor’s Degree   


Specialization  
Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field from a 4 year University or College    

Experience  
4+ years of experience in a generalist or business partner role for a company with > than 500 employees
PHR or sHRBP HCI Certification and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred
