Project Description



Responsible for the accurate, timely entry, maintenance and integrity of data for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and for performing general administrative tasks associated with Human Resources paper and electronic records.  Participate in improvement projects and implementation of new systems as the “hands-on” data expert.  

Enter personnel/employment data into the company’s HRIS system. Ensure that data recorded in the system matches paperwork received.
Flag and seek resolution of paperwork inconsistencies, including missing information and/or information that is out of line with Company programs/policies. 
Create, modify and/or assign new codes.  Perform regular audits of data in the HRIS system to identify any inconsistencies. Correct data as needed, or guide others to correct their errors.
Respond to inquiries from other HR staff related to the entry and/or accuracy of data into the HRIS system.
Perform general administrative duties related to Human Resources records, including, but not limited to, printing, filing and copying documents, etc.
Work with HRIS specialist and manager to identify ways to reduce errors in data entry and assist in implementing improved processes/systems.
Provide general guidance and assistance to US HR staff related to the completion of data entry forms and general HRIS system navigation.
Run reports of basic to moderate complexity from the HRIS system.
Participate in the implementation of new systems.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education:  High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent required.  Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in related discipline preferred.
Experience:  Three to five years related experience and/or training.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Other:  Must be able to accurately perform high-volume data entry in a complex environment.  Must have a high level of attention to detail and superior keyboarding skills.  PeopleSoft or other HR information systems proficiency preferred.  Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools preferred.
