Description

he HR Security
Specialist has functional responsibility for provisioning Merck users with access
to multiple HR systems, reports, and applications. This will include approving
and tracking access, reporting on access, monitoring access, and supporting
audits. This position works closely with the other HR Security Specialist to
provide round the clock support.

Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to the following:

• Works
closely with the U.S. based HR Security Specialist to review, approve, track,
and maintain HR Security provisioning records.


Accurately track all HR access in the Security Tracking Tool.


Monitor daily employee movement reports and communicate and update access as
needed in a timely manner.


Support security auditing by providing access reports and communications.

• Participate
in projects and programs where HR Security is impacted.

use Service Requests to submit requests to HR systems. HR Security provisions
the access request through Remedy tickets after request approvals (e.g.
manager, 2nd level approval).

Security ensures that inappropriate access is removed when employee’s

Access Audit

This
audit is for managers to annually review and confirm on-going
access to HR information for their direct reports

Confidentiality Agreement

For
individuals to gain and maintain system access to HR information, it is
required that they understand the responsibilities and agree to abide them

Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge
Required/Preferred

Strong
written and verbal communication skills

Strong
understanding of and appreciation for data privacy concepts and principles

Minimum
Experience Required/Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an
HRIS/IT/Operations function

• HR Security experience

Other Required

• 8am to 5pm
working time is required

• off-work time support
