Project Description

  • Provides first level support to Solvay end users on a variety of IT and Business issues
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and self-service requests for technical support in a professional and courteous manner and in accordance with established Help Desk quality guidelines
  • Identifies, documents, researches, troubleshoots and escalates issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Follows documented Help Desk procedures
  • Provide rotating weekend support coverage

  • Preferable Technical education in IT or related field
  • Previous experience in a Call Center / Help Desk environment
  • Intermediate knowledge and practical experience in MS Windows XP, Windows 7 and Office 2010/2013
  • Intermediate knowledge of networking and printer diagnostics
  • Strong Team and Customer Service Focus
  • Fluent English proficiency, knowledge of German or Spanish language will be considered an advantage
