Project Description

  • Gain & maintain access and reimbursement for inline products to help deliver company’s short-, mid-, long-term success, and develop effective access strategies for pipeline products to support the company’s future success; coordinate planning and assumptions for budget and long-range plans
  • Develop and execute health economic evidence generation strategies to demonstrate the value company brings to patients, providers and health systems
  • Develop & execute healthcare policy, government relations and customer/stakeholder engagement strategies to shape our environment, working as company and via industry associations
  • Develop and execute corporate affairs plan which ensures effective bidirectional communication with media respectively through media with key stakeholders
  • Develop & execute innovative pricing and contracting strategies, within governance, to deliver value to customers and secure an appropriate value capture
  • Build & leverage company’s reputation as a credible, science-based thought leader that makes meaningful contributions to patients, providers, health systems and society
  • Partner effectively with company commercial, medical and functional colleagues to support company’s business and mission
  • Develop, empower, coach and lead a talented, results-oriented VA&P team

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Doctorate degree and 8 years of directly related experience or Master’s degree in Health Care Management with 10  years of directly related experience
  • Strong understanding of payer and government environment in Switzerland, including reimbursement, pricing and contracting, value drivers, formulary management, HTA policy and government affairs/policy/advocacy
  • Significant expertise and experience in corporate affairs
  • Direct payer experience and/or experience in product commercialization
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, and engage in productive debate and collaboration with senior leaders
  • Strong understanding of strategic pricing and contracting, including innovative approaches such as risk-sharing deals
  • Proven ability to innovate and transform business models
  • Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a highly-matrixed environment
  • Strong oral/written presentation and strategic planning skills
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
