Head of Medical Education (f/m)
For our department Medical Affairs & Research / Medical Education we are seeking to appoint a Head of Medical Education (f/m)


Your tasks:     
  • Maximize the performance of medical education and medical education programs of Headquarters, its subsidiaries and partners through leadership of a team and in conjunction with the marketing and medical departments
  • Facilitate the identification of educational needs, the educational planning & design-process including budgeting
  • Optimize medical education outcomes, speaker management, speaker training, manage central programs
  • Establish strong partnerships and services to national education managers
  • Assist national medical education managers with annual program planning and deployment
  • Contribute to the ‘educational needs assessment’ process including the establishment of needs assessment and evaluation methodology in recognition of the customer perspective and national culture
  • Evolve the utilization of the digital learning channel and blended learning concept
  • Contribute developing an educational curriculum for establishing a new medical model in association with Systems Medicine and Systems Biology
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices in medical education and benchmark company's practices

 

 
Your profile:  
  • Master in Health management or MBA desirable
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar team leading position in the field of international medical education, training or continuous professional development in medical or pharma organizations
  • Excellence in people and project management, cross functional team leadership and international collaboration
  • Candidates shall be knowledgeable of learning design as well as adult learning principles and demonstrate strong competencies and experience in this field
  • Experience in international management, preferably in the European, Russian and Latin American region
  • Experience in collaborating with medical, scientific and marketing teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication- and presentation skills
  • Computer skills (MS project or comparable, MS office)
  • Strong networking ability and customer focus
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and Spanish or Russian (preferable)
  • Willingness to travel
