Project Description

Purpose of the Position:

  • The Global Market Access Manager will collaborate on the development and specification of the pricing and market access strategy, value story and the supporting evidence base for Caplacizumab, Ablynx’ wholly-owned anti-vWF Nanobody.
  • The Global Market Access Manager will also provide health economic advise/support for other late stage projects across Ablynx’ portfolio

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the product’s value proposition and key messages
  • Provide Payer insights and recommendations from HEOR perspective in development team to ensure all relevant pricing and value issues are integrated into the overall evidence generation plan to optimize the core value dossier
  • Collaborate on the development of the pricing and market access strategy and plans
  • Develop a clear global Value dossier and other core global value materials and ensure acceptance by local markets
  • Ensure local plans and dossiers of markets outside EU5 and US are effectively coordinated and that the use of key clinical evidence is consistently applied and interpreted across markets
  • Contribute to the development of HE/BOI Models
  • Contribute to the generation of the payer insights through primary research, advisory boards, etc., and ensure the implementation in the strategic plans
  • Collaborate with external partners to implement projects in a timely, impactful manner
  • Contribute to meetings with external bodies such as health technology assessment (HTA) agencies and engage with such external agencies and clinical and HEOR KOLs, to seek external input to HEOR evidence generation strategies and plans (focus countries outside EU5 and US)
  • Develop HEOR communications (e.g. manuscripts, scientific forum presentations, slide kits, symposia), in collaboration with multi-functional teams, to build the peer reviewed published evidence supporting the value proposition.

Skills, expertise and contribution:

  • Good understanding of US-EU pricing and reimbursement landscape
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a market access/reimbursement position within Pharma-Biotech Industry with proven success;
  • Global market access/ reimbursement experience is a plus
  • Ability to develop comprehensive market access strategies and plans and communicate them effectively within the organization to gain alignment and drive critical decision-making
  • Strong analytical and collaboration skills
  • Proven team player & Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others to achieve mutual objectives
  • Demonstrated ability in data generation, health economic modeling, and synthesis of HEOR initiatives and link to value propositions for value creation
  • Strong project management skills; demonstrated experience in managing multiple cross functional projects and external partners required
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Proven track record of professional relationships at a senior management level
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in a highly matrix global/region/function environment
  • Communicate with great conviction and clarity at the appropriate levels

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Life science degree (MSc. PhD or equivalent), Business degree preferred
  • Expected experience: at least 5 years’ experience in international (not mandatory, desirable) Market Access function with proven track record
