You will be a member of: Global Manufacturing & Supply Procurement Leadership Team and Global Engineering Leadership Team

You will report to: Solid: VP, Head of Procurement GMS, “dotted”: VP, Head of Global Engineering (GE)

Your key Responsibilities include:

● Manage a spend of approximately 260 million Euro supporting 25 sites globally
● Lead the Global Capex Category Strategy:

1. Process Equipment, Construction
2. Digitalization

● Provide Leadership and develop the Team (5 direct reports)
● Manage the key supplier relationships with particular focus on: quality, innovation, sustainability, cost & cash targets
● Drive bottom-up data transparency thru effective networking and collaboration on various levels in the organization
● Generate an annual calendar and project pipeline to continuously drive value (e.g. cost and cash but also quality and others)
● Provide guidance to and is an active part of the GE Leadership Team – the key stakeholder
● Provide insights and perspective as active member of GMS Procurement Leadership Team
● Play an active part (including approvals) of Global Capex Approval Process
● Use Category Strategy and SRM tools that drives alignment with GE:

1. This includes supplier performance measurements (once rolled out) and
2. reporting

● Manage team resources by balancing project and category work
● Travel: Global and frequently

• At least 10 years in Procurement within an multinational organization, leadership experience, Capex experiences, ideally some years of Pharma experiences
• Strong business acumen
• Education: Engineering degree (ideally), MBA is helpful;
• Fluent in English, German would be helpful
• Mindset: Business Partnering, Process, Continuous Improvement, Perseverance, Drive for Value (cost, cash, compliance, innovation, quality)
