Responsible for implementing KPIs and measure performance to ensure the overall quality, consistency, and timeliness of Finance initiatives necessary to maintain focus on improvements and results. Serve as a collaborator with cross-functional stakeholders on enterprise initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Establish KPIs and analytics to effectively measure the performance of the Shared Services function as well as other Finance functions.
•Develop recommendations and action plans to support growth and eliminate or mitigate observed risks.
•Work in concert with Finance Teams to develop dashboards that display departmental health
•Develop and report on KPI's that measure improvements and prepare the Shared Services for future growth. Track progress against business plan, identify any deviations and suggest plans to remediate; provide reports and analysis as required.
•Create and implement internal communication structure to improve overall communications across organization.
•Maintain procedures and controls documentation.
•Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
•Ensure a metric driven focus on processes & technology enhancements. Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of improvements.
•Facilitate and conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying drivers behind performance gaps. Root cause may include on site observation, interviews, and process documentation.
•Develop presentations and discussion documents to highlight business issues and opportunities for executive level review.
•Lead efforts to identify future efficiency opportunities; including but not limited to: conducting ROI analysis, prioritizing initiatives and measuring results.
•Lead implementation of designated tools designed to improve overall performance.
•Perform all other related duties as assigned.Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in business, management or related discipline.
•Experience: Three to five years related experience and/or training.
•An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
•Other: Knowledge of SAP required. Expert knowledge of Excel required.
Demonstrated ability to work well with short deadlines and time constraints. Skilled in project management, planning, and communication of ideas and concepts across functional areas.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences. Customer and team focused, self-motivated and attention to detail required.
