  Field Sales Operations Manager  
  •  We have a new opportunity available the position of Field Sales Operations Manager within the Sales team. 
  • This position is based at our site, and will report into the Associate Director, Field Sales. 
  • To provide and oversee office-based support for the field sales team and ensure effective linkage between the field sales team and other departments such as Marketing and external agencies, to ensure smooth and efficient running of the department. This includes coordinating team meetings /events and the effective and efficient use of the CRM and related systems. 
  • Lead and direct the activities of the Telesales team and the Field Sales Admin Assistant. 
  •   Main Function/Responsibilities of the Job Managing the Cycle Planning Process   
    • Oversee arrangement of Cycle Planning Launch Meetings and other team event 
    • Manage and Run Cycle Planning Meetings
    • Follow a 16 week SOP process managing three cycles at any one time at different stages of production 
    • Minutes, agendas and cycle briefing document 
    • Provide constructive feedback on brand presentations, OPU’s and tablet presenters 
    • POS development and deliveries 
    • Support Marketing teams with themes and ideas development for each cycle dependent on seasonality   

Together with the Admin Assistant, provide admin support to the Field Sales team, including but not limited to
  • Central contact person for the field sales teams 
  • New starter induction program coordination 
  • Cost centre reviews vs budget 
  • Process PO’s and approve invoices for the team 
  • General admin support for Associate Director, Field Sales as required   

Manage the CRM and associated systems (e.g. territory planning system) with support as needed from  Admin Assistant, including 
  • Uploading central data and information 
  • Oversee content and correct usage by the teams 
  • Report Production as required by Associate Director, Field Sales 
  • Training for new users and new functionality   

  Required Skills 
  Knowledge and Experience:   
  •  Some man management experience and familiarity with telesales operation would be beneficial but not essential  
  •  ABPI qualification would be an advantage and in any event will be a requirement in order to continue in the role beyond approx. 18 months  
  •  Commercial & Business Awareness. Experience working with a field sales organization would be an advantage  
  •  Strong Organisation skills and attention to detail  
  •  Ability to work with and influence colleagues in different functions and at different levels within the organization. Confidence speaking to large groups of people  
  • Numeracy and Literacy – capable of writing cohesive reports/proposals for review by senior management and undertaking data analysis of CRM systems. 
  • Basic project management skills 
  • Computer literacy – familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
  • Current full valid UK driving licence 
  •  Computer literacy – familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
