vitrolife, inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced embryologist, focusing on animal embryology. this individual will be involved in Testing and development of technologies utilized in the assisted reproductive technology (art) industry. the Lab is a state-of-the-art facility responsible for performing quality and toxicity Testing as well as functioning within the R&D department at vitrolife.
this motivated and energetic team Member will perform embryo culture, embryo morphological assessment and other Assays as part of the Analysis of raw material and finished goods manufactured by vitrolife.
minimum educational requirements include a bachelor degree in Biology, Biological science or related course work. this candidate should have experience in reproductive Biology, or equivalent expertise. previous embryo/Cell Culture experience is preferred. minimal weekend and holiday responsibilities are expected.
applicant should have prior experience performing all of the following functions and other tasks as needed:
- gamete isolation, Cell Culture and embryo assessment
- embryo cryopreservation
- media Formulation
- florescent Microscopy
- general Troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
- maintenance of accurate records
the following attributes will be strongly considered:

- ability to work within a team
- ability to foresee, prevent and solve problems
- manage multiple priorities and advanced tasks
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
