Project Description

What you'll be doing:
• Participate in the full development cycle of our products. This lifecycle includes designing, coding and testing. 
• You integrate our sensornetworks in the embedded systems of several new products: the next autonomous water drone, our large IoT sensor network and our measurement instruments that explore soil structures at water depths greater than 4km
• You implement and help improving our agile development strategy

Who we're looking for:
• You have a Master degree in Industrial Sciences option ICT/electronics or equal by experience
• You are an all-round hands-on software engineer with strong interests in embedded systems, remote control of robotics and mechatronics.
• You are proficient in C development
• You are a creative problem solver and you always thing out of the box 
• You’re willing to improve your personal technical skills 
• You’re able to cooperate and work in a multidisciplinary and self-managing team

Considered as a big plus:
• Experience of or a strong interest in maritime and/or offshore industry 
• Having experience with C# and C++ 
• A good knowledge of Ethernet communication, real-time operating systems, microprocessors and PCB-design
• A good knowledge of English
