alnylam is seeking a highly motivated Intern with introductory biology, Biochemistry and/or Toxicology experience, and proven abilities in the execution, Analysis, interpretation, and Communication of In Vitro cellular and molecular biology Assays. the candidate will engage in a variety of Lab-based investigative, mechanistic sirna Research efforts related to the Preclinical Safety and efficacy evaluation of novel rnai therapeutic modalities. the individual will work closely with the Research, Toxicology, Pathology, and dmpk groups.
 
learning objectives
  • learning objective #1\: establish culture of multiple commercially-available neuronal Cell lines
  • learning objective #2\: assess free uptake and activity of c16-sirna across these Cell lines
  • learning objective #3\: knock down candidate receptors and test the effects on c16-sirna uptake and activity
qualifications
  • you must be legally eligible to work in the u.s.
  • must be currently enrolled in bachelors, masters or phd program
  • 1 years of hands-on Lab experience with molecular and/or Cellular Biology techniques
