The Documentation Assistant oversees the review of documents generated from all the production processes and performs the concurrent update of the production databases with key process parameters. This position requires close interactions with Production Supervisors, Senior Specialist of Operations, TSMS and Quality Assurance members.
  • Manages an efficient and controlled system to ensure that documentation and manufacturing records flow in and out of operations
  • Ensure that documentation is submitted accurately and in accordance with procedure with specified time frames
  • Assists Production Supervisors with the review of production records and maintains the documentation error database for the evaluation of trends by supervisors and Operations Manager.
  • Concurrently maintains the key process parameters databases for the collection of data from production manufacturing records for the evaluation of trends by TSMS, Supervisors and Operations manager
  • Submits monthly reports on documentation errors within each section of Production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One (1) year of experience in document management.
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
  • Highly organized, oriented to detail and able to prioritize work to meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Occasional weekend and off-hour work may be required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may apply.

  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
