|Job Description||The Director of Strategic Alliances Management will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing alliance management activities across R&D and for identifying novel business and operating models to help execute the portfolio outside of Biogen’s walls. This role is a central point of coordination and contact for Business Development to help evaluate alternative operating models to incorporate into deal structure and terms. The Director, Strategic Alliances Management will also be responsible for assessing and tracking overall performance of the portfolio of external activity and working closely with Research Unit heads and other members of the Business Operations team to ensure the advancement of the portfolio.|

•10+ years relevant work experience
•Experience identifying and executing capability or asset partnership agreements
•Deep understanding of drug discovery and development, preferably with experience leading or managing drug development programs
•Prior experience managing external partners

•Proven ability to effectively resolve complex issues
•Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
