Job Description

  • We employ cutting edge technology to provide our customers with industry leading solutions and are currently seeking to fill the position of Director, Sales Operations.  Remote candidates will be considered.  

Primary Responsibilities 
Supports the Sales team by:  
  • Providing leading edge Sales enablement tools to enhance productivity (i.e. targeting, pipeline management, business intelligence/analytics, etc.) 
  • Driving territory and pipeline management activities 
  • Assuring Sales personnel are adequately trained and certified, and successfully leverage product knowledge and GTM resources 
  • Providing data management and developing real-time analytics and reports for the Sales team 
  • Providing Sales support resources that allow off-loading of administrative tasks from core selling roles 
  • Ensuring account reviews and whitespace analyses are conducted with regularity 
  • Implementing faster, more effective and more efficient sales processes 
  • Working with the Proposals team to write, edit, curate and maintain related documentation including actual proposals, proposal templates, RFI response libraries, reports, other materials 
  • Working with Product Commercialization and various internal SMEs to develop GTM materials which demonstrate the value of our solutions and address client requirements, including but not limited to: sales decks, value models, white papers, fact sheets, infographics, etc. 
  • Providing (SFDC) administration, and maintaining a good working knowledge of the uses, capabilities and reporting features therein 
  • Quota setting aligned with financial planning; territory sizing and determination 
  • Determining and administering fair and competitive compensation through pay levels informed by market surveys 
  • Crafting and implementing highly motivating incentive plans 
  • Engaging with nearly every other function in the organization to ensure coordination and efficient operation of the commercial organization 
  • Predictive analytics (longer term) to maximize the value of each sales call  

Working conditions: 
  • Travel: 10-20% 
  • Lifting: 0-25 lbs 
  • Other: Computer work for long periods of time   

Required Skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree preferred

  • Ability to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities 
  • Ability to coordinate and progress multiple simultaneous tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a high quality of work 
  • Excellent attention to detail and orientation toward meticulous work 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Advanced documentation and organizational skills 
  • Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude   

Required Experience 
  • 5 years relevant work experience (Sales Operations, Proposal Coordination, Training and Enablement) required; 10 years preferred; 
  • Discipline and experience in developing and enforcing Sales process; 
  • Administrator-level understanding of (SFDC); 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel; 
  • Proven ability in writing, revising, and editing technical communications; 
  • Experience in supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives; 
  • Skill in developing client-facing materials;
