The Global Value, Access, & Pricing Strategy Leader will make a vital contribution to Incyte’s development and commercialization decisions. This position  will lead the global value, access, and pricing strategy and plan for epacadostat in close coordination with Global and Regional colleagues. This may include crafting and supporting the value positioning, pricing strategy, and the creation of access tools in order to demonstrate the benefits and value of Incyte’s products. The position will lead the market access preparation efforts in close collaboration with key cross-functional and cross-regional colleagues, and will also support countries in preparation for their P&R negotiations. The position will report to the Head of Global Value, Access, & Pricing at Incyte.


Job Responsibilities:

  •  Works with internal partners at the affiliate and global levels to assess reimbursement and access in key markets, determine probability and achieve optimal alignment of GVAP strategies
  •  Inform and guide product development, prioritization, commercialization planning, payer and pricing strategies, positioning and messaging
  •  Works closely with cross-functional partners and teams to define primary and secondary research and assessments, including pricing, HTA, policy trends, evolving legislation and regulations, payer practices, dynamics and factors
  •  Collaborates closely with regional market access leads in support of global strategy and local implementation
  •  Ensure competitor evidence is gathered and interpreted, to inform GVAP strategy
  •  Develops metrics for existing and future global payer and reimbursement strategies, markets and channels
  •  Provides critical inputs into product forecasts, including strategic, operational and financial forecasting
  •  Work with corporate development team to evaluate licensing or other external partner/collaborator opportunities as required
  •  As appropriate, participate in the ongoing development and enhancement of cross-functional teams’ structures, processes, systems, and other tools and resources
  •  Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures


Minimum Requirements:

  •  Bachelors Degree (health economics, life sciences, public health, public policy, finance, business or marketing disciplines are preferred), post-graduate or doctoral degree in above or other related disciplines is preferred
  •  8 or more years’ professional experience in a relevant field (e.g. strategic pricing, reimbursement strategy, payer strategy, marketing, market research, strategic planning, business development, etc.) including a minimum of 5 years’ relevant pricing, market access, and/or health economics experience, global experience in above is preferred
  •  Excellent knowledge of the global healthcare and pricing environment and in depth knowledge of payer evidence and value demonstration requirements
  •  Very strong influencing and facilitation skills, excellent communication skills, written and oral and strong ability to show leadership
  •  Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and to interact with senior leadership
  •  Previous experience in the oncology, Melanoma, and/or Immuno-Oncology (IO) therapeutic area is a plus
  •  Strong market access and strategic abilities with a demonstrated ability to see the big picture
  •  Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  •  Ability to travel domestic and international, when required
