We employ cutting edge technology to provide our customers with industry leading solutions and are currently seeking to fill the position of Director, Business Development to work remote in US/Europe. Primary Responsibilities Identifies business opportunities by: Generating new leads and prospects Managing corporate meetings and exhibitions Representing Bioclinica at local, national and international meetings pertinent to public relations and future business development Develops and secures business by Generating Requests for Feasibilities and Proposals (RFPs) based on new and existing clients Collaborate in writing business and technical proposals Assisting with client contract negotiations Maintains relationships with clients by Providing support, information and guidance Recommending new opportunities Recommending profit and service improvements Establishing and maintaining industry and client contacts for continuing good relations and business opportunity development Developing and maintaining client profiles including updating contacts management system (salesforce.com) Maximizes market penetration by Ensuring ongoing understanding of Bioclinica’s services, services offered by competitors and market/industry trendsMaintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards b  Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards Entry and maintenance of opportunity and other information in Salesforce.com Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to SalesContributes to team effort by Secondary Responsibilities Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes Helping others to achieve results Performing other duties as assigned                                                       Maintains Technical Knowledge by Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training Maintaining a strong understanding of Industry trends and applicable technology Working conditions: Travel: 0-50% Lifting: 0-20lbs Other: Computer work for long periods of time Required Skills Required Skills: Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred Sales/Business Development training preferred Additional skill set: Ability to work independently or in team setting; ability to adjust to changing priorities Strong presentation and negotiating skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude Required Experience Required Experience: Experience: 5+ years clinical research experience and 2+ years successful pharmaceutical/CRO/medical sales experience ideal; comparable combination of education and experience may be considered (preference of experience is based on role with in GCR—may be SMO or Post Approval or Patient Recruitment) Operations experience in clinical trials preferred Thorough knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical industry, terminology and practices Proven ability in presenting and negotiating Job Location London, , United Kingdom Position Type Full-Time/Regular
