Project Description

For the earliest possible start date we are searching for a highly qualified Director Biostatistics (m/f) to join our expanding Tissue Phenomics Services Team.

  • Develop strategies for a broad range of statistical analyses 
  • Implement customized data analysis solutions based on company's platform technology as well as on external statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, Python) 
  • Work on clinical study designs responsible for the required sample size and power calculations, creation of statistical analysis plans and randomization concepts/schedules 
  • Perform statistical reports 
  • Provide accurate and timely statistical input for reports or decisions 
  • Ensure the correct adoption of statistical inferences and analytical methods. 
  • Discover novel prognostic and predictive biomarkers using the Tissue Phenomics methodology 
  • Consulting of customers 
  • Contribute in drafting and reviewing scientific publications 
  • Provide training, expert coaching, and support 

  • M.S. or PhD in biostatistics or comparable degree 
  • 8+ years of experience in solving statistical problems and performing data analysis using scientific computing and related languages (R, Matlab, Python etc.) 
  • 5+ years of industry experience with clinical trial data analysis under regulatory guidelines, ideally including experience with sample size estimations, missing data and biomarker robustness tests 
  • Sound knowledge of R 
  • Immuno-oncology experience is a plus 
  • Talent for the conceptualization of problems and analytical thinking 
  • Proactive and independent workstyle 
  • Good organizational and planning skills 
  • Strong commitment to quality 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Excellent social and connecting skills, joy to interact with customers and colleagues
