Primary Duties
  • This role is at the heart of the Customer Facing Excellence (CFE) Team and a key contributor towards the development and implementation of new strategies, processes and tools to enable the regional and local commercial operations leads to be as effective and efficient as possible at their respective responsibilities. 
  • The positions primary roles and responsibilities include to:
    • Develop and improve strategies, processes and tools that translate and execute the global franchise strategies to company s commercial operations framework
    • Lead the strategic development and consolidation of the CFE approach/model
    • Lead the continuous embedment and implementation of company's CFE approach for account planning and patient finding across international and franchises
  • This role requires substantial leadership, stakeholder management (across functions and geographies), project management, communications and influencing skills, and sales force effectiveness knowledge.



Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve strategies, processes and tools that translate and execute the global franchise strategies to company's  commercial operations framework
  • Ensure that the CFE approach is adequately represented in any broader organizational strategic projects, e.g. such as the definition of the company way of commercial operations during an integration process
  • Closely collaborate with all stakeholders from the franchise teams when translating their strategies into the commercial operations framework and the CFE approach
  • Develop innovative KPIs to measure the business performance of the organization vs. the CFE approach by using a combination of output KPIs and operational KPIs 
  • Be the voice of LOCs during new concept developments to ensure country specific criteria are taken into consideration
  • Lead the strategic development and consolidation of the CFE approach/model 
  • Lead the development and implementation for process improvements such as the enhancement of the country commercial and medical team (CCMT) review process
  • Evaluate the right level of integration of CFE in company wide tools such as the CRM 
  •  Drive the development and consolidation of the CFE model based on implementation findings across the regions and LOCs as well as the feedback from cross-functional stakeholders in the commercial operations, medical and franchise teams
  • Lead the continuous embedment and implementation of  company's CFE approach for account planning and patient finding across international and franchises
  • Drive the continued embedment of CFE across the regions and LOCs through close interaction and partnering with the regional commercial operation leads. 
  • This includes training the commercial operation leads on CFE, the country commercial and medical team (CCMT) review process as well as regularly communicating model enhancements 
  • Ensure that the regional commercial operation leads are enabled to lead a continued successful roll-out of the CFE approach across regions and franchises by leveraging learnings from previous roll-outs
  • Be the CFE subject matter expert and single point of contact especially for the regional commercial operations leads, commercial operations functions and global franchise teams




Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor s degree or equivalent. Master s degree preferred.
  • Strong commercial experience, preferably across sales, marketing and commercial operations roles
  • Proven success working in the commercial effectiveness, preferably across local and international roles
  • Clear understanding of the pharmaceutical sales process essential, experience in Specialty  markets, Rare Disease  markets preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to design, improve and implement business plans and processes 
  • A proven record of high performance over multiple years and across multiple roles
