Project Description

 

 

The Coordinator, Global Learning & Development will be an integral part of the L&D team, supporting implementation of global L&D solutions and coordinating day to day processes.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Supports global L&D team as needed with implementation of programs and practices, to include support of talent reviews, succession planning, training, organizational effectiveness initiatives, diversity and inclusion, and performance management
  • Assists with the scheduling, planning and coordinating of workshops and meetings for the L&D team
  • Maintains working relationship with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement updates for organization
  • Reserve and manage resources such as training rooms, conference rooms and Skype and immersive room connections
  • Prepare classrooms including ordering and assembling course materials and supplies
  • Coordinate event catering during program execution as needed
  • Lead the coordination of L&D budget including contract administration, invoice tracking activities, setting up Purchase Orders, and interfacing with Procurement, Legal, and Finance as needed
  • Oversee and reconcile purchasing card charges
  • Organize and maintain department records complying with record retention guidelines
  • Serve as the first point of contact for assisting employees with questions or issues
  • Add, maintain, and track all L&D courses within the LMS
  • Prepare and send email communications to global employees in support of L&D programs
  • Create reports and analyze data to track training completion and compliance, show trends and engagement in learning resources, and provide ad hoc data as needed
  • Help the L&D team to positively impact the organization by participating in larger L&D projects and initiatives, contributing creative ideas, and providing process improvement suggestions

  

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 4 years related work experience as a L&D Coordinator and/or in an HR function in a complex, cross-functional business
  • Experience handling sensitive, confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and possess strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendaring/Email tools such as Outlook
  • Flexibility, detail orientation, positive attitude, demonstrated communication effectiveness
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is preferred
  • Experience working across country/regional/global lines is preferred
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Travel required up to 20%

 

Education

 

  • Must have 4 year BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
