Troubleshooting, calibration and servicing of process instrumentation and equipment including automatic control valves, pressure relief valves, distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, electronic transmitters measuring flow, temperature, pressure, mass, pH, level, and other process parameters. Also responsible for troubleshooting of motor control systems in compliance with safe electrical work practices.
Completion of a nationally recognized instrumentation apprenticeship program resulting in a journeyman card, or college/technical school degree in process instrumentation or electronics is strongly preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
Four years field experience as part of qualified apprenticeship program or minimum of four years hands-on experience working in the field of process instrumentation or electronics maintenance is required.
