Contracts Assistant

An organised and enthusiastic individual is required to provide support to all B. Braun Sites / Companies within the UK in relation to resourcing and implementing contracts for Goods or Services. You will be responsible for supporting and enforcing compliance within the Vendor Register including all related documentation and setting up contracts relating to Non-Inventory Goods and Services.

Your responsibilities

  • To provide assistance and support to the Central Purchasing Team throughout the quotation and tender process
  • To assist in the monitoring and review of contracts once in place
  • Provide cover for the creation of Non Inventory Purchase Orders, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
  • Vendor Creations and Central Purchasing Emails
  • Maintain the Central Purchasing BKC Page
  • Review expiring contracts in line with the needs and requirements of the business through Contract Extension. To include all aspects of the Purchasing Function
  • Provide reporting at Vendor level by spend / usage / categories
  • Monitor and record savings in accordance with reporting deadlines and ensure that they are saved and uploaded in the designated files
  • To collate information for benchmarking and market analysis for pre-qualifying vendors and utilise the Vendor Enquiries page in this process

Your qualifications

  • Educated to a GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Customer focused with Purchasing experience
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Enthusiastic and quick to learn
  • A Good communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Numerical, methodical and accurate
  • Able to work as part as a team as well as on own initiative
