Lilly USA IT plays a key role in delivering solutions and services across the US Bio-Medicines organization and hosted services for US Diabetes and Oncology. This role will work closely with both Account Managers and business partners to develop a deep understanding of their business, data and drive solutions that ensure their success. This role will be responsible for gathering requirements and translating them into a form that can be easily understood by all audiences. Additionally, the Business Integrator will be responsible for responding to ad hoc data requests from our business partners.
The Business Integrator will partner with many diverse groups including: IT Data Integration Consultants, Business Unit partners, field sales representatives and external partners to influence foundational decisions involving data, processes, and platforms. This role will be a key driver on the strategy and implementation for how data is stored, managed, processed and integrated across business and IT platforms. In addition, the Business Integrator will serve as a mentor to other Business Integrators. This position reports to the IT Manager of US Sales Reporting.
Business Integrator (70%)
Drive creation and alignment of business requirements for internal and external partners
Influence and lead large scale complex IT solutions
Manage relationships and anticipate the needs of business partners, IT colleagues, and external vendors
Proactively identify short and long-term improvement opportunities that cross multiple business and IT departments
Proven ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders of all levels – translating technical conversation into business relevant understanding
Broad technical skills
Business intelligence reporting
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
In depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Work Stream Execution Lead (30%)
Manage the financials of small and large projects of the Lilly USA IT Sales Reporting team.
Ensure delivery on commitments, escalate issues when needed and mitigate of risks as they arise
Strong self-management and ability to work in ambiguity
Drive the creation of quality IT deliverables and support processes in an Agile framework
Proactive, demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and strong ability to drive peers and above to timely decisions
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Computer Information Systems
5+ years in Information Technology
