This role will put successful candidates on the cutting edge of modern technology, innovation and major pharmaceutical brand strategy to deliver the right information to the right customer, at the right time, in the right channel with an unparalleled customer experience.
This position will have accountability for working with our Marketing teams, IT teams and vendors to develop and implement IT capabilities in support of our Multi-Channel Engagement content strategy. This position reports to the Digital Capability Development Manager of Lilly USA IT and will help lead the modernization of our US marketing technologies to support our new commercial model for the US marketplace.
Key responsibilities for the Lilly USA IT MCE BI include working with marketing teams, architecture teams and IT colleagues to conceive, design, develop and deliver digital content management capabilities and tools to orchestrate cross-channel, mobile-friendly customer campaigns and deliver an unparalleled online customer experience.
Additional responsibilities include influencing broad medical, legal and regulatory processes to ensure compliance while driving agility and value within digital channels.
Specific responsibilities include:
Digital Content Solution Delivery
Understand the MCE capability of Content Management, both externally and how Lilly MCE is approaching, inclusive of the cross-functional roadmap
Lead the execution of Content Management solution delivery work as the IT Leader
Partner with Marketing on scope, and timing of the Content Management Roadmap
Proactively determine interdependencies with other capability workstreams, and manage them
Develop expertise in processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate for content-related decision making
Ensure solutions adhere to quality and compliance requirements
Lead customer acceptance, defect resolution, business issue resolution
Ensure adherence to appropriate quality standards and risk-based decision making for all delivery efforts
Manage projects and ensure alignment with overall roadmap and strategy
Digital Content Consulting and Strategy
Influence global counterparts on US digital marketing needs and integration points that impact global platforms (e.g. Content Management, Global Consent and Preferences and Campaign Automation platforms)
Actively shape Lilly policies and procedures governing digital channels to deliver ongoing compliance with a minimum of bureaucracy and optimization of customer value
Represent Lilly USA Digital in governance discussions and decisions, partnering closely with Lilly USA business teams and IT Architecture teams as appropriate to establish business cases for change aligned with Lilly USA’s strategic initiatives
Consult with internal customers (e.g. Marketing teams) to help develop cross channel content strategy, including cross-channel solutions and tracking
Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing
Minimum of 5 years IT experience, preferably in Marketing-oriented environments

Experience with B2B / B2C cross channel marketing campaigns
Familiar with the technical architecture associated with databases and analytics

Experience in applying quality and compliance requirements
