Description:
We are currently looking for a Communications Manager for a temporary position.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, this position will be responsible for:
  • Execute local product PR and advocacy strategy in alignment with business unit needs and consistent with international PR strategy
  • Proactively identify and deliver external communications and advocacy for key projects/products and milestones (product approvals, data, corporate, etc), ensuring press materials meet local governance and code of conduct and follow the international press release approval process
  • Builds and maintains an effective working relationship with key media and advocacy groups
  • Interacts with internal stakeholders to proactively counsel on business unit specific communication needs
  • Works with Corporate Communications to provide communications counseling for issues/crisis management
  • Build and maintain relationships with advocacy, policy, KOLS and other relevant external stakeholders according to business objectives and needs of communication plans





Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:
  • Bachelor degree in public relations, communications or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of PR related experience, ideally gained in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare product public relations including agency and/or corporate
  • Good media relationships and contacts in country and understanding of how to build strong relationships with media
  • Knowledge/understanding/ ability to interpret clinical data and its application to both the clinicians, patients, and payors in the market
  • Compliance and legal parameters for working with patients and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English
  • Takes initiative and acts pro-actively, enthusiastically and creatively
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative team player with good cross-cultural adaptability
