Communications and Compliance Specialist Job - Puerto Rico

This position will have responsibilities for the execution and realization of all activities related to the site’s internal communication strategy and plan. Will also establish liaison with global communications community for the deployment of global communication needs, social responsibility and/or required communication campaigns. Will lead and coordinate efforts with the support of the corresponding employees’ committees to ensure the execution of employees’ activities and community relations program.
The position is based in Merck Las Piedras and does not include relocation assistance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, or a Behavioral Science related field.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
At least three (3) years of experience in critical tasks related to coordination of work and/or groups, leading projects and/or work committees, organizing events, generating instructional material and/or presentations.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Must be fully bilingual, both written and verbal.
Knowledge and skills in technical writing, editing, publishing, and diverse forms of written communication.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, etc.).
