LEO Pharma relies on a number of global Contract Research Organisations (CROs) and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) to execute our clinical trials with quality compliance within agreed timelines. Would you like to play a key role in supporting our growing portfolio within the clinical outsourcing area? We are looking for a new colleague in Clinical Vendor Management.

Clinical Vendor Management is part of Global Clinical Operations, which is responsible for executing all LEO Pharma A/S sponsored clinical trials in phases I-IV.
You will manage all aspects of collaborations with our external partners; from assessing the need to outsource an activity, scouting for the optimal vendors – ensuring a match to LEO’s requirements, to contractual negotiation, performance monitoring and follow-up. You will collaborate and liaise closely with various internal stakeholders such as Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Operational Leads, R&D Quality, Global Procurement, R&D Legal, etc.
In collaboration with internal stakeholders you will be responsible for the performance of our external partners, ensuring appropriate level of vendor relationship management which includes governance set up, vendor oversight and performance evaluation. You will act as a sparring partner to our internal customers in their day to day collaborations with CROs, CMOs and external partners. Hence, the ability to interact successfully with different stakeholders ranging from Senior Management and scientific experts to operational staff is very important.
The work also includes activities related to process optimization. Furthermore, a high degree of complexity and many different activities going on simultaneously are characterized in this job. This requires that you have the ability to structure and simplify complex matters, while having a high degree of flexibility, independency and drive.
The position is based in the LEO Headquarter Offices in Ballerup. Some travelling will be required.
We expect the ideal candidate to hold a MSc. within Life Science, Business Administration or equivalent. The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years’ experience within the Pharmaceutical industry and within the discipline of clinical outsourcing. It will be an advantage to have experience within clinical trial supplies.
You have a passion for your work and take pride in delivering on time and according to expected quality criteria. You handle stressful situations well and have strong stakeholder management skills as well as an empathic approach towards people around you. Proficiency with contract language and standard legal terms and conditions for clinical contracts is required.

If you have less experience than mentioned above, but strongly believe that you can contribute to the team, we are open to evaluate less experienced profiles as well.
