Description of unit: Study Management&Sourcing is part of R&D Development organization. R&D Development is responsible for clinical development of Orion’s molecules and Study Management&Sourcing unit consists of Clinical Study Managers and outsourcing experts who are key players in conduct of clinical studies. Study Management&Sourcing unit has employees in various locations in Finland as well as in Nottingham, UK.
Description of position: Clinical Study Manager, main responsibilities being:
• Acting as study director in clinical studies of phases I-IV, including also Animal Health studies. Study director is responsible for the timelines, budget and quality of the clinical study and he/she establishes and leads the clinical study team and acts as the main contact for clinical CROs.
• Being involved in clinical study process development.
Requirements: • At least bachelor’s degree in a suitable field
• At least 5 years relevant working experience
• Excellent knowledge in GCP and other applicable regulations
• Strong understanding in clinical study process and requirements
• Experience in global phase III clinical trials
• Good understanding of and experience in at least in one of Orion’s main therapy areas: CNS, oncology, respiratory and/or Animal Health
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in team leading
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Positive and open attitude, willingness to learn, develop and work in continuously changing environment
• Readiness to travel, also overseas
• Ability to work full time at least in the beginning
