|SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:1. Must be willing to learn and effectively implement sales techniques to increase AB market share at implant centers.2. Familiarity with competitive technology would be helpful.3. Familiarity with behavioral and objective procedures used to assess implant candidacy and the benefit for adults and children.4. Knowledge of electrophysiological testing with implants (ESRT, Neural Response Measurement) preferred.5. Must be flexible and adaptable.6. Experience fitting and troubleshooting patient’s external equipment and software issues preferred.7. Must be willing to travel greater than 50% of the time.8. Must pass the Advanced Bionics competency exam with a score = 90%.9. Must be willing to present publicly.EDUCATION and TRAINING: Masters or Au.D. degree in Audiology (or related profession). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology or ABA CertifiedFINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Operate within budget set by company.INTERNAL CONTACTS: Must work cooperatively with Regional Manger, Area Director, Clinical Specialists, BEA, Operating Room Support, Clinical Engineering, Auditory Technical Services, Advanced Clinical Research, Clinical Research, Customer Service and other regional team members.EXTERNAL CONTACTS: Must work with audiologists, surgeons at cochlear implant centers, educators of the deaf, and speech-language pathologists in educational settings, as well as, cochlear implant candidates and users of the Advanced Bionics product.|
