Business Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Facility Veterinarian I for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Baltimore, MD.

Your primary role, provide veterinary health care for all animal models utilized by the vivarium in compliance with all applicable PHS policies, federal, state, and location regulations and Charles River Laboratories policies.  Leads the NHP Project and provides clinical and experimental support.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Clinical Facility Veterinarian I position.


  • Requires doctoral degree in veterinary medicine (DVM or VMD) from an AVMA accredited program or ECFVG certification. 
  • Maintains licensure to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state in the USA.
  • Must have 2 years of relevant veterinary experience.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Animal Welfare regulations and the AAALAC accreditation process.
