In this role a Chemical Operator will prepare batches and monitor reactions as outlined in Manufacturing Procedures.  A Chemical Operator is expected to progress from the initial Chemical Operator level of Chemical Helper Trainee to the highest level of Chemical Operator B.  Operator progression will be dependent on procedural training, hands on training and field validation training.

Duties include:
  • Preparing final product blends
  • Package finished goods in confirmation to plant quality standards
  • Running distillation reactions
  • Running high temperature reactions
  • Shipping and receiving of packaged and bulk materials
  • Conduction equipment set up and change overs
  • Computer transactions
  • HAZMAT Technician training
  • Complete annual training as outlined in plants' Training Matrix
  • Uphold and advance HSE policies and standards
  • Other various duties associated with chemical manufacturing


Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Lifting 50 to 55 pounds routinely
  • Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts
  • Willing to work holidays and weekends
  • Standing for sustained periods
  • Team oriented attitude
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task and react to changing priorities
  • Must pass drug tests, background check and physical exam
